Beetroot Halwa – A tasty Indian dessert
Ingredients
Grated Beetroots : 2
Sugar : 4 tbsp
Cardamom powder : 1 tsp
Chopped Almonds,cashew nuts, raisins, pistachionuts : 1 tbsp
Ghee : 2 tbsp
Method : How to make beetroot Halwa
- Melt the ghee and add grated beetroot to it.
- Keep stirring continuously until the beetroot gets cooked. No need to add any water.
- When beetroot is cooked in about 10 to 15 minutes time, add the cardamom powder,chopped nuts and sugar.
- Mix well till sugar melts and you get the halwa kind of consistency.
- Serve Beetroot Halwa hot as dessert.
