Chocolate Swiss roll
Eggs : 4
Refined flour : 100 gms
Castor sugar : 100 gms
Baking powder : 2 tsp
Warm water : 1 tbsp
Grated chocolate : 25 gms
Method : How to make chocolate swiss roll:
Preheat the oven to 200 degree Celsius.
Grease a swiss roll tin, line with butter paper and then grease the paper well.
Separate the whites from the yolks of the eggs.
Beat the yolks with the sugar until the mixture is creamy.It should expand upto 3 to 4 times in volume.
Then add the warm water and the chocolate.
Whisk the whites stiffly.
Sift the flour with baking powder.
Add flour and egg whites into the yolk & sugar mixture, folding them in lightly.
Put the mixture in the greased tin and bake in hot oven for about 15 minutes at 200 degree Celsius.
Turn the cake on to a piece of greaseproof paper sprinkled with icing sugar.
Trim the edges and roll it up. Put it on a rack to cool and cut into slices.
